WELCOME TO SOLID! WHEN IT COMES TO HOSTING AN EXTRAORDINARY CORPORATE EVENT, OUR SPACE IS YOUR SPACE.

We are two brothers — but more importantly, two best friends — who decided to transform our former office space into a unique urban loft, ready to host corporate events and more. Designed and built with love and care, the first SOLID space in Psychiko became an example of a visionary rethinking of how corporate events are planned and executed. Our mission is to reinvent the way teams experience their corporate events, through breathtaking venues, delectable cuisine, and engaging team-building activities that inspire and empower them to exceed their goals.

Being one of the top-rated corporate event venues and with five awards at the 2020 Boussias Venue Awards under our belt, we are a trusted expert in hosting and managing any type of corporate or private event. Our spaces can host a wide range of corporate events, such as team-building activities, training workshops, presentations, meetings, receptions, press conferences, screenings, and celebrations — as well as private dinners, karaoke nights, and many more exciting interactive experiences for you and your team!

OUR STORY

2009 [ THE BEGINNING ]

WE — PERIKLIS AND YANNIS — LANDED AT IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON, WHERE WE STUDIED MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. WE THEN JOINED FORCES TO CO-FOUND OUR OWN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. ITS NAME WAS INSPIRED BY OUR SINCERE CORE VALUES AND COMMITMENT TO DELIVER…  SOLID CONSTRUCTIONS. OUR MOTTO WAS ‘BUILD, DON’T TALK’.

2017 — OUR VERY OWN SPACE

AFTER YEARS OF NOMADIC WORK IN BUSTLING CONSTRUCTION SITES ACROSS GREECE, WE DECIDED TO ESTABLISH SOLID HQ IN PSYCHIKO, ATHENS. TOGETHER WITH INTERIOR DESIGNER ALEXANDRA NIKOLAOU AND WORKROOM2, WE ENVISIONED A BRIGHT, WELCOMING SPACE THAT WOULD SHOWCASE OUR LOVE OF RAW MATERIALS AND ABILITY TO BUILD SOMETHING INNOVATIVE, AESTHETICALLY PLEASING, AND UNIQUE THROUGH OUR ‘MERAKI’ AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

2019 — A NEW CHAPTER

WE HAPPILY DECIDED TO END OUR JOURNEY IN THE CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS. WHAT WE WERE LEFT WITH WAS A UNIQUE SPACE THAT, ALTHOUGH TEMPORARILY EMPTY AND PURPOSELESS, IT STILL SUMMARISED OUR LOVE FOR QUALITY OF LIVING AND OUR VISION OF HOW TO ACTIVATE SENSORY AND THINKING PROCESSES. ONE LATE NIGHT AT SOLID, SITTING AROUND THE FIREPLACE WITH FRIENDS, WE ROARED THE SAME IDEA ALL AT ONCE: “LET’S SHARE THIS PLACE WITH THE WORLD.” JUST LIKE THAT, A NEW SOLID WAS BORN, WITH THE MOTTO: ‘OUR SPACE IS YOUR SPACE’.

2020 — THE YEARS OF INNOCENCE

THE SPACE AT PSYCHIKO WAS ALREADY SO UNIQUE AND WELCOMING THAT, WITH JUST A SIMPLE WEBSITE, WE MANAGED TO HOST 100 EVENTS IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS OF OPERATION. ENCOURAGED BY THE POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM OUR CLIENTS, WE DECIDED TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP AND PARTICIPATE IN THE MOST IMPORTANT VENUE AWARDS IN GREECE. WE ENDED UP WINNING NO LESS THAN FIVE AWARDS, GIVING US THE FINAL PUSH WE NEEDED TO TAKE OFF AND ESTABLISH OURSELVES IN THE CORPORATE EVENTS INDUSTRY.

2023 — NEW FRONTIERS

IN JUST THREE YEARS OF OPERATION, SOLID HAS HOSTED MORE THAN 450 EVENTS AND IS THE TOP-RATED CORPORATE EVENT VENUE IN ATHENS. WE ARE FINALLY SEEING OUR CORE VALUES COME TO LIFE AND OUR VISION EXPAND. WE’VE ADDED A CATAMARAN TO OUR PORTFOLIO OF SPACES, AND WE’RE CURRENTLY PLANNING TO EXPAND OUR BUSINESS WITH NEW SOLID SPACES, AS WELL AS MANAGING THIRD-PARTY VENUES.
